About

Dylan Rubinic, PT, holds a doctorate in physical therapy from Hampton University and a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Western Carolina University.

He and his wife came up to Alaska in 2018 looking to enjoy the outdoors – and start a new adventure.

He finished his student clinical rotations at Alaska Native Medical Center and then became a staff therapist at an Anchorage physical therapy office. Over the years, Rubinic has worked with a wide variety of patients, young and old, with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. With the opening of OPA’s therapy department, he jumped at the chance – and today he’s a vital member of the OPA Eagle River physical therapy team.

Rubinic focuses on orthopedics and sports medicine, helping patient set and achieve orthopedic recovery goals – and give them the support, education and tools they need to continue their success at home.

When he’s not helping patients get the most out of life, he’s doing the same himself, enjoying hiking, camping, cross-country skiing, home renovations and chasing his toddler around.
