Nathan Reed, MS.Ed, LAT, ATC, CES

Certified Athletic Trainer Nathan Reed has helped a wide variety of athletes – from high school student-athletes to Olympic hopefuls as well as USAF airmen.

Reed earned his bachelors in athletic training from California State University, Fresno, graduating Cum Laude. He immediately went to work as an athletic trainer for a physical therapy office before launching into graduate school at Northern Illinois University.

He worked through grad school as a graduate assistant athletic trainer, covering several different D1 teams. Reed graduated with a 3.80 GPA and a Master of Science in Education, in Exercise Physiology and Fitness Leadership. He also earned certificates of graduate studies in both Sport & Exercise Psychology and Sport Management.

Reed landed a job in Alaska as an exercise physiologist with Task For True North – Operational Support Team, an Air Force-chartered effort to enhance airman and family well-being in Alaska. Returning to passion to help athletes in 2020, Reed joined the OPA athletic training team. Today he helps high school student-athletes in the area stay healthy and achieve their goals.
