About

Kristina Hedum holds a doctorate in physical therapy and is driven to make a positive impact in her patients’ lives. She comes to OPA with experience in a variety of settings, from in-patient acute care at a medical center to outpatient care in a private physical therapy practice. While earning her degrees, she worked as a PT technician and later as a wellness assistant for older adults – instructing group fitness classes and assisting participants with individual programs.

As a volunteer, Hedum has helped countless individuals with disabilities through Special Olympics, iCan Bike, Go Baby Go, Quality Living Inc and other programs. When she’s not putting her professional skills to work in the community, Hedum enjoys hiking, skiing and camping with her husband. She is a lifelong Alaskan and is fluent in Russian.
