Christy Campbell, PT, DPT

Ms. Campbell earned her bachelor of science in biology and health sciences, with a minor in psychology and her doctorate in physical therapy from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA. She is also a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist a post-graduate specialization in the field of neuromuscular skeletal disorders involving "hands-on" techniques used to evaluate muscles, fascia, nerves, and joints.

Prior to joining OPA, Ms. Campbell supervised a team of therapists in addition to maintaining her own patient caseload. She was responsible for managing general clinic operations, reviewing outcome program measures and developing plans to improve patient care in addition to managing her own caseload of patients.

Today she focuses on patient care and treats post-operative orthopedic and neurological patients providing treatment of lumbar/cervical fusion, discectomy, total joint replacement, sports injuries, balance dysfunction and joint pain.

Ms. Campbell also holds a Level 2 Certification in Trigger Point Dry Needling from the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments. As a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist, she treats a wide variety of orthopedic conditions including cervical and tempromandibular disorders, thoracic and rib articulations, neural mobilization, and upper and lower limb joint disorders. When she's not helping patients recover their mobility, she can be found hiking, biking, or skiing.
