Aliza Algozino, PA-C, MS

Algozino is passionate about helping people, whether it’s about recovering from an orthopedic condition or improving lives of those around her. Over the years, she has volunteered for UNICEF; donated her time to tutor high school students in Cape Town, South Africa in math and reading; and volunteered on a MIMA Foundation surgical mission trip to San Juan Sacatepéquez, Guatemala. It was this trip that inspired her to pursue a career in medicine.

She wrapped up her undergraduate degree and within a year became a medical assistant and then a certified emergency medicine technician (EMT), volunteering her services with the Chicago Fire Department.

Algozino went on to earn a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Sullivan University in Louisville, Kentucky. Here she gained hands-on experience in sports medicine & orthopedics, emergency medicine, general surgery and more. Immediately after graduation she went to work at an emergency medicine physician assistant for KentuckyOne Health (now UofL Health).

In 2020, she came to Alaska seeking new adventure and soon began helping active duty air force and army personnel and their families in JBER Hospital’s Emergency Department.

Today, she puts her passion to work for Alaskans as a member of Dr. Eule’s spine care team. In her spare time she enjoys camping, mountain biking, fishing, cooking and pottery.
