Maggie R. Laufenberg, PA-C, MPAS

Orthopedics has been a part of Maggie Laufenberg's life since her parents "threw" her into sports in the 3rd grade. She played year-round volleyball, basketball, and running through high school. Then at the University of Wisconsin, Platteville, she ran track & field and cross country while also volunteering as a student athletic trainer.

Working closely with UW-Platteville's soccer and football teams, she discovered she had a gift to help people stay healthy and keep playing hard. So after earning her bachelor's degree, she went on to earn a Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Arcadia University in Glenside, PA.

Ms. Laufenberg launched her PA-C career in urgent care and has since treated patients in variety of settings including pediatrics, family practice, and integrative wellness combining traditional and alternative health practices.

Today at OPA, Laufenberg puts her orthopedic skills and experience to work helping patients achieve and maintain a healthy, active lifestyles and strives to earn their trust with the best care possible.

Her special interests include preventative care and promoting of healthy lifestyle choices and working with patients of all different backgrounds, athletic abilities, and ages.

When not working, she enjoys mountain biking, paddling, and running up and down mountains and virtually anything active outdoors. She's also a huge fan of supporting local farmers, artists, musicians and community based activities.
