Kevin Knight, OTD
Mr. Knight earned his bachelor's degree in biology from Northwest Nazarene University, Nampa, ID and his doctorate degree in occupational therapy from Creighton University, Omaha, NE.
He completed clinical experience rotations at Alaska Hand Rehabilitation, and Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK, Entire Care Rehab and Sports Medicine in Sedona, AZ and in the China Honors Interprofessional Program in Shijiazhuang, China. His clinical responsibilities included the evaluation and treatment of post-surgical and conservative injuries to the shoulder, elbow and hand, evaluation and treatment of orthopedic and neurological disorders affecting the upper extremity and making upper extremity orthotics in thermoplastic and Delta materials for the digit, hand and wrist.
Because the structure of the hand is extremely complex, Mr. Knight finds successfully addressing hand dysfunction and helping patient's participate in daily activities very rewarding. He joined the OPA team in 2016 and enjoys working closely with other rehab specialists and treating surgeons.
When he's not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and baby daughter exploring the outdoors, including fly-fishing, biking, hiking and camping.
