About

Michael Dyches values compassionate healthcare and has a personal commitment to furthering the well-being and safety of his patients. Prior to joining OPA in 2012, Mr. Dyches served as Senior Physician Assistant for the U.S. Army Airborne Infantry Brigade at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. There he oversaw orthopedic care for nearly 4,000 active duty soldiers, helping to ensure that they remained healthy and fit for combat. He has also provided medical care on numerous deployments, including ones to Afghanistan, Iraq, Bosnia and aboard Navy vessels.

Mr. Dyches completed his Orthopedic Physician Assistant residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in Ft. Sam Houston, Texas. He earned his Physician Assistant degree from the Medical College of Georgia. Prior to that, he underwent training by the U.S. Navy, at Operating Room Technician School and Hospital Corps School.

Mr. Dyches has earned numerous accolades throughout his career, including the Bronze Star, an Expert Field Medical Badge and a Combat Medical Badge.
